What a wonderful world. For me this is the Louis Armstrong anthem. The only other living or dead human being allowed to sing this, so far, is Sarah Brightman (also shared on this tumblr).

It popped up on my ipod this evening and I could almost taste the 1980s in my mouth.
Everything Googoosh did was glamorous, but she sure has the moves in this very sad song. A beautiful composition (rip-off of Jesus Christ Superstar Overture - but who cares), heart-wrenching words, and a Googoosh performance. 5-star all the way.
Needless to say she had every bit of the Persian beauty signature of the 70’s.

Sad but fun song. I think Late Shammi Kapoor was a great actor. A bit overacted mostly, but still a great fun era of Bollywood.
I’m a great fan of Nina Hagen, and this is one of her best songs for me. Enjoy
Bolero by Maurice Ravel. Also known as the music to make love with. This is one of the most amazing performances. Highly recommend opening of all senses when listening AND watching this piece. It’s a must WATCH as well.

I have great liking for Chinese and Japanese traditional music. Some find the sound of the shamisen irritating. If played well I find it quite mystical.
